PRE-PRODUCTION/DESIGN/ANIMATION

FinOps Fridays was a long form interview series based around the business operating model known as FinOps. The project owners wanted to create a fun, casual, welcoming aesthetic reminiscent of ‘80s retro gaming to appeal to the target audience. The goal was to create a design and animation that would bring playful contrast to the more technical industry terminology and content.

FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

By utilizing the type face, music, and textures in the design and animation, I was able to emphasize the ‘80s retro feel to the design and animation.

Motion Design

Pre-Production/Design:

• Brainstorm & Develop a concept that meets the client’s needs, and that is creative

• Design Visual Identity that accurately portrays the goals of the project

• Understand animation principles

• Understand design principles

• Storyboard animation

• Prepare script that coincides with the animation

Animation:

• Understand thorough Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Media Encoder, Bridge)

• Understand animation principles
